Coconut flakes

Coconut flakes, which is dried and shredded coconut flesh, have lots of health benefits:

-they have a positive effect on digestive system: they relieve bloating, constipation and stomach pain related to ulcers,

-they support thyroid functioning, due to their iodine content they lower the risk of thyroid goitre development,

-they lower the risk of osteoporosis development, as well as relieve some symptoms connected to pancreas disorders,

-they are a perfect source of iron, potassium, magnesium, copper, folates and dietary fibre,

-coconut water is an excellent hydrating drink, perfect for electrolytes replacement during a mild training,

-100g of coconut flakes provides 606kcal, 5,6g of protein, 63,2g of fat, 27g of carbohydrates, 21,1g of fibre.

We recommend coconut flakes as an addition to oatmeal, muesli, natural yoghurt, salads and sauces.
