Lemonade

  • juice of 5lemons
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • 5 tablespoons cane sugar
  • 3 tablespoons honey (GF)
  • 1l really cold sparkling water
  • 2 handfuls of lemon balm leaves
  • 2 cups ice, cubed

 

 

Scenario:

Squeeze the lemon juice into a jug, add the lemon zest, sugar and honey, mix well to dissolve. Add plenty of cubed ice and stir again. Top up with sparkling water. Pour into glasses, garnish with lemon balm. Serve cold, with a straw.


 

GF – make sure the ingredient doesn’t contain traces of gluten!
