La Provence in… France? No, no, no! In Germany!

This restaurant was an unexpected delight! I went there with a huge group of people, there were like 15 of us. We were lucky to obtain a table without a reservation (it’s advisable to book). I was very pleasantly surprised by the friendly atmosphere and the sensational food. Fine dining at it’s best, really. And they have a good selection of wines as well.

We dined inside, but it was also possible to sit in the garden, what probably would be a way better decision.

Also the stuff is very helpful and will answer any questions – since the menu doesn’t indicate which meals can be prepared without gluten, it’s important to talk to the chef/waiter to know beforehand what you can order. The only (but quite important) bloomer was made by the waitress (but that wasn’t the same person who took our order, so she is justified ;)) who switched the plates – three of us ordered a lamb with vegetables, but only mine was was supposed to be gluten-free. So… I was given a „normal” version, but my friend got the gluten-free one instead – luckily, I noticed it right away, so the waitress went back to the kitchen, explained everything and came back with another plate 🙂

All in all – a positive experience. It’s the place to come to when you want to be spoiled 😉

I had there a very nice meal last week with a group of colleagues. Maybe it wasn’t delicious, but still very good and I’m really happy I went there! Thanks for the info, I wouldn’t ever find this place on my own.
