Goat’s cheese rolls baked with Parma ham

Goat's cheese rolls baked with Parma hamIngredients (10servings):

  • 1 soft goat’s cheese log cut into slices (about 1-cm thick)
  • 10 slices Parma ham
  • 1 handful wild rocket, washed and dried
  • 1 handful lamb’s lettuce, washed and dried
  • 1 handful Roman salad, washed and dried
  • 1 handful diced chives, washed and dried
  • 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • sea salt
  • freshly ground black pepper (GF)

Scenario:

Preheat the oven to 250ºC and turn on the grill function.

Wrap the Parma ham around the goat’s cheese and fasten with a toothpick. Place the little rolls on a baking tray lined with baking parchment. Bake for 3-4 minutes – until the ham is slightly browned, but the cheese is not too soft.

Prepare 10 small plates. Place the rockets, lamb’s lettuce and Roman salad on each of them, place the rolls on top of each plate. Season with salt and pepper, then dress with a good splash of balsamic vinegar and a bit of chives.
