As I was extremely happy with my first visit at EXKi, I paid them a second one, a third one and many, many others… Pleasant surroundings, self-service, no artificial flavouring and no preservatives, fresh ingredients, lots of healthy options and a good veggie range too. Amazing!
The very first time I just popped in for a quick cup of tea. I thought the visit would take me five minutes or so. But I didn’t realize that they had so many gluten-free stuff in there! So I spent at EXKi an hour trying to figure out what I wanted to eat first: a cookie, a salad, a soup?… I wasn’t even hungry but all those things looked so appealing, that I wasn’t able to deny myself the pleasure of having a bite to eat…
As coeliacs it can be a little troublesome to find good, wholesome meals while travelling, but EXKi is very convenient and really has a lot to offer: wonderful salads, quiches, soups, freshly baked tarts, smoothies, fruit and mind blowing desserts. And what is the biggest advantage: each product is clearly labelled so that you know all the ingredients that were used.
Seriously, EXKi is an excellent alternative to the usual offerings in other restaurants and fast-food chains. It’s ideal for a cup of coffee along with a muffin, great for a healthy lunch with friends… And if you need to grab a quick breakfast – EXKi is the perfect choice as well. You can eat in the restaurant or take the food with you, whatever you like. And what is more: everything is at very reasonable prices.
EXKi can be found all over Brussels, but there are also numerous branches throughout Belgium and other parts of Europe – you can find the nearest one on their website.
Definitely recommended!
