Chocolate and hazelnut cupcakes

  • 2 eggs
  • 50g sugar
  • 100g butter (GF)
  • 100g dark chocolate (GF)
  • 100g milk chocolate (GF)
  • 20g hazelnut flour (GF)
  • 20g potato starch (GF)
  • 30g corn flour (GF)
  • 30g hazelnuts, chopped (GF)

 

 

Scenario:

Preheat the oven to 180°C, prepare the muffin baking tin. Melt 50g of dark chocolate with 50g of milk chocolate and butter over a hot water bath, add cinnamon. Leave to cool. Cut the remaining chocolate in big pieces. In a bowl, mix the eggs with sugar until white and creamy. Add three kinds of flour and the melted chocolate. Add the chopped chocolate and stir with a spoon. Fill the muffin tin, sprinkle with hazelnuts and bake for about 20-25 minutes. Leave to cool. 

Cocoa, a basic chocolate ingredient, increases serotonin levels („happiness hormone”) in the brain. It’s one of the main neurotransmitters present in the human body, helping fight the stress and depression.

GF – make sure the ingredient doesn’t contain traces of gluten!
